About Spoonbird’s role
A record, not medical care.
Effective September 24, 2026. Last updated 24 September 2026.
Spoonbird is a personal record and AI companion. It is not a clinician, medical device, emergency service or substitute for professional care.
Spoonbird is intended for people aged 17 and over.
Spoonbird does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent a condition. It does not determine what caused a symptom or recommend starting, stopping or changing a medication, supplement or dose. Descriptive patterns show what was recorded and when; they do not establish causation.
AI responses and extracted entries can be incorrect or incomplete. Review saved entries and reports, correct mistakes, and discuss medical questions with a qualified professional who understands your circumstances. Medication schedules are your own reported plans; only an actual dose entry records reported use. Spoonbird does not infer adherence from a schedule.
Do not delay or change professional care because of Spoonbird. Conversations are not monitored by clinicians or emergency services.
If you may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. In the United States, call 911 for emergencies or call or text 988 for crisis support.
